Nancy established the Swearingen Photography Portrait Studio in Dearborn in 1992 as an outgrowth of her lifelong pursuit of portraiture as a painter, an aspect that she still continues today. Nancy was born and raised with fine arts and music. She attended high school at Interlochen Arts Academy and went on to receive her painting degree from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts.

John has always had a respect for the fine arts and is a skilled Certified Professional photographer. His candid and unique style blends with Nancy's artistic and classical eye to create exquisite portraits. Together they have won numerous awards, and their clients can be found throughout the United States. John and Nancy pride themselves on providing very personal service and giving their clients a truly relaxed artistic experience.
